Even a rain-soaked landscape could not put a damper on some much needed October magic! Sunday saw us meet the acquaintance of the loquacious Dr. Strach of The Scream Machine, who was all too happy to regale us with his research into the very nature of fear. He graced us with an interview which will be released later this week, and even introduced us to one of his obedient patients, a squirrely fellow known only as Friend.
Inside the attraction, all manner of creature assailed us through a series of elaborately detailed scenes, each doing their ghoulish best to elicit the shrieks and screams necessary to fuel Dr. Strach’s monstrosity of a machine. Once free of the internal contraption, we enjoyed two escape rooms and before departing were accosted by a shifty, silent trickster folks call Nobody.
With the night still young, we dashed through the dreariness to Deranged where Clown Carnage had been unleashed upon the good people of Covensfield! Cackling harlequins menaced the food court inside Star Fall Mall! A one-man rodeo stomped the grounds of Gourdan Family Farm! The parade of clowns was unrelenting — Nox, Droopy, Tootz, and even…Kumbo? Yes, Kumbo!!
