The forecast here in Southeast Michigan is not a promising one tonight, but October weekends are not to be wasted. We’ll stick close to home this evening and venture to Taylor where the long-running Scream Machine will syphon fear from participants willing or otherwise from 7 – 11pm!
The disgraced and disfigured Dr. Strach has summoned his machine to life once more to further his dubious experiments in fear research. The former neurosurgeon isn’t alone in his grand ambitions either, long-time associate Peepo the Clown gleefully puppets patron’s phobias for the benefit of Strach’s machine.
Also beneath the thumb of the master of malpractice is the mysterious Madame Clarise, a former doctor in her own right, Dr. Clarise Hawthorne once studied Ecology, but now blends nature and science in such a way that would cause even Mary Shelley to recoil in horror.
But perhaps the most concerning figure housed within the Scream Machine has yet to be mentioned — reports carried on the wind hint at a large and elusive beast, curiously and ominously dubbed…Big Momma.
