Horrorlust Halloween Zine Eyes A Fall Return

Horrorlust Halloween Zine will be available for download September 1st.

Regular visitors to Horrorlust know that last October I added a digital publication to the fold — Horrorlust Halloween Zine! The purpose of this seasonal magazine is to promote haunted attractions and Halloween events in the same spirit that once gave life to the revered Fear Finder. I also view the zine as a vehicle to foster a sense of community for those of us who live for autumn, but also as a platform for artists, creators, and vendors to share their wares with the wider world.

I did not plan for Horrorlust Halloween Zine to be a one-off, and I’m happy to report that work is well under way for the 2026 edition. In fact, my exceptionally talented friend, Puca, has already put pen to paper and finished the cover art. That’s right, it’s done. I’ve already moved on to the next phase of the project which is where you lot come in.

To produce the zine annually will require sponsors who seek to advertise their attraction, art work, or horror-centric products! I’ve prepared a PDF with all the important information including ad rates that can be sent straight to your inbox. So, if you’re one of those people or you know those people, share the news and drop me a line in the comments or via email: [email protected]

Summer has just begun, but I’m gazing past beaches and barbeque to the sound of crunching leaves and the distant scent of a bonfire. 2026 will mark 15 years since I first launched this diary of the dead known as Horrorlust. That’s a fair amount of time, kids, but in some ways, I feel as if I’m just getting started. With the help of some friends, I hope to see Horrorlust Halloween Zine become a staple of the season of screams.

Happy Haunting!
