Michigan and Ohio have quite the storied rivalry, and it just might extend to the haunted attraction industry. Tonight, the 2026 haunt season will emerge from the shadows once more to shock and surprise thirsty thrill-seekers. Regular readers here at Horrorlust know that the Monsters of the Midwest each hold a special place in my haunted heart. Since 2011, I’ve chronicled my nocturnal adventures in both states in this diary of a madman, and that’s set to continue this fall.
