Sunday Scaries, Anyone?

Don't sleep on Sundays, thrill-seekers!

Friday and Saturday are, of course, the most popular days to visit haunted attractions, but if you’re looking to dodge the big crowds, a Sunday outing will do the trick. Most professional haunted attractions are open on Sundays, although typically for fewer hours, but on the upside, operators sometimes run special themed nights or offer online discounts to lure out thrill-seekers.

Tickets are on sale at Eloise Asylum in Westland from 7-10:30p this evening, and if you order online with the promo code SCARYSUNDAY, you can score a $20 admission, good for a trip through the Asylum and the secondary attraction known as The Sub Level.

In Romulus, Deranged will open the gates from 8-10p for Clown Carnage, the first of several themed nights that occur each Sunday of the haunt season. General admission is $26 online, while an in-person purchase will cost $4 more. If you happen to cross paths with the wily clown known as Nox — under no circumstances should you touch his fluffy, blue balls! Consider yourself warned.

Also open tonight in my neck of the woods is Hush in Westland from 7-10p. A general admission ticket is listed online as $27.99. Enjoy the Rue De L’ombre ScareZone while you wait to gain entrance into a trifecta of terror — Hotel Descent, Eternal Rest, and finally Rosecliff Hall.

Last, but not least, is The Scream Machine is Taylor, open tonight from 7-10p, general admission is $30.
