Welcome to the third annual Halloween themed Word of the Week! In 2006 I decided to paint portions of this blog in a distinct shade of Halloween and the Word of the Week format presented itself as a ready canvas. Take a look back at the previous two years’ entries and enjoy.

The first entry in the 2008 Halloween themed Word of the Week strikes at the very heart of the holiday, the movies it influences, and the psychology behind the costumes we don each October the 31st.

enigmatic [en-ig-ma-tik]adjective: resembling an enigma; obscure, cryptic, mystifying.
