Fade to Black

Despite rain and falling temperatures the 2013 haunt season came to an end last night on a high note. In St. Charles we battled our way through the Village of the Living Dead, one of the most truly frightening haunted attractions we’ve visited in some time. As the midnight hour crept near we pulled into Mt. Morris where the cast at Exit 13 churned out a fantastic haunt romp punctuated by their unique blend of unbridled madness.

We also collected a lead from Pete at the Village of the Living Dead about another area haunt, Garage of Terror in Chesaning. If time had allowed we would have ventured there as well, we’re always up for a surprise visit, but the clock was ticking and we had an appointment to keep with Exit 13.

As always, full reviews will be posted. Currently I have nine reviews in the works, the first will be released tomorrow night which will detail the trip I took with my sister-in-law through the Funeral Home in Inkster. I’ll also share the details of our Halloween yard haunt in an upcoming post; and as always I invite each of you to subscribe to the zany antics of the Mud Puppets.

Mere days before Halloween we released Our Muddier Nightmare, a Halloween Special. In our latest video, simply titled Happy Halloween, yours truly can be seen dressed in drag doing my best Buffalo Bill impression of Silence of the Lambs fame. It’s been called weird, awkward, horrifying, and just plain wrong. So it’s definitely worth a watch!
